We have created an online marketplace where Makers are able to sell their products directly through our website to our past attendees and audiences!
The marketplace gives makers access to our audience, but also allows us to fully optimize our ads for their success and sales.
Once a sale is made, this tells our ad campaigns how to optimize even further and select the right audience that is the hottest for shopping small and supporting makers.

WE WILL BE SELECTING 25-50 MAKERS WITH GREAT PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY EACH MONTH.
makers will create an account on our website & UPLOAD PRODUCTS.
makers’ $100/month PARTICIPATION FEE WILL GO TOWARD ADVERTISING THE MARKETPLACE.
ONCE A SALE HAS BEEN MADE, MAKERS WILL SHIP & FULFILL THE ITEM.
the sale, minus a 20% commission, WILL BE ADDED TO the makers ACCOUNT FOR MONTHLY PAYOUTS.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BE A PART OF THE MARKETPLACE?
Makers will be signing up on a month to month basis on the Marketplace and may have the opportunity to be invited to become a long-term seller on our website in the future.
For the month of October, our marketplace will have a $100 monthly participation fee that goes 100% toward advertising the marketplace and driving sales as well as a 20% commission from your marketplace sales.
We are allowing makers to apply for November and December but please note that after we launch, we may slightly increase the monthly participation fees to add to the advertising so that we can increase sales for all makers on the platform. We will notify makers that have applied if there is a change and give makers the opportunity to decide if they would still like to participate.
BEFORE YOU APPLY!
We will be looking for makers that have excellent product photography, photos of themselves (not only their professional portraits but photos of them while they are making their craft) as well as any videos about your company.

We will take care of all of the technology but are looking for makers that have a great eye for branding & packing their products, photography, website and social media. In the Marketplace, we are looking for makers that are established brands and must have a website (not just Etsy). Those with an Etsy can still apply to our Virtual Markets and in person markets.
WHAT QUALIFIES AS A MAKER?
Makers are artists, writers, photographers, collectors and designers, they are the creators and dreamers that are driven to create the next great brands of the future.
We accept applications from makers with:
Vintage or antique collectables
High quality craft and handmade items
Up-cycled or restored salvage
We do not accept makers with:
Direct sales & multi level marketing (Mary Kay, LulaRoe, It Works, LipSense, Scentsy, etc).
Wholesale distributors (This is in contrast to a boutique)
We are a family friendly event and also do not accept makers with:
Products with hateful messages
Drug paraphernalia/products and messaging that promote drugs
Curative products like CBD oils or pain relievers.
HOW ARE MAKERS EVALUATED AND SELECTED?
Makers are judged on the following criteria:
- Product photography is going to be key for this market
- Product quality and branding
- Unique products
- Booth display photos
- Online presence in the following categories:
- e-Commerce presence in either an online store or Etsy
- Facebook & Instagram following, growth and activity
During the market our team is looking for the following qualities in Makers to be invited back:
- General good vibes and attitude
- Promotional efforts online
- Adherence to schedules
- Good communication
- Maker’s understanding and compliance of our policies
Please note: We have a capped amount of Makers per category to ensure the market maintains a standard of high-quality and variety. Participation in a past markets does not guarantee a spot for future markets as we do rotate vendors.
ARE FEES REFUNDABLE?
Makers will pay for their participation fee and application fee upfront, if not accepted, you will be notified and the participation fee will be refunded by the start date of the market period you have applied for.
Once accepted, we do not issue any refunds or credits.
WHEN WILL I HEAR BACK?
While we try to email every Maker about the status of their application, we do receive many applications daily and are not always able to respond to each one.
You will be notified if you have been accepted. If you wish to email us about the status of your application and you have not heard back within 2 weeks, please do so at email@example.com .
We send acceptances to all makers at least two weeks prior to the month you have applied for.
IS THERE AN APPLICATION FEE?
2020 application fees are $25 per each month you are applying to and are non refundable. This covers all administrative costs of processing the applications each month (yes, we evaluate each maker again as if they are brand new!) but does not guarantee acceptance into the market.
If you have not been accepted to a market, we highly suggest you take the time before the next market to work on certain areas of your company before we look through makers the next month.
