WHAT OUR VIRTUAL MAKERS SAY
Katie Dean Jewelry
I love the transparency of Markets for Makers. It’s great to see where the maker fees are going with the analytics reports they provide after the event — the amount of paid advertising they do is super valuable and definitely brought awareness to my brand and brought in sales!
Life In The A.M.
Markets for Makers virtual market exceeded my expectations! I know only saw a huge increase in traffic and follows on my social media, but I also saw a huge jump in sales and views for my online shop. I will definitely be doing another online/in-person market with them!
Mirror Image Boutique
We were excited to be a part of the first Markets for Makers Virtual Market and it did not disappoint! The M4M team did a wonderful job promoting the 100+ small businesses within the market as well as providing creative marketing material for our own social media pages. We received an explosive amount of website views, increased our social media following and obtained new sales with customers from around the country. It was wonderful being a part of a community with other entrepreneurs and supporting not only our shop, but other small businesses as well!
Holly Keith Lingerie
Markets for Makers was exactly what our brand needed, especially its adaptive Virtual Market given the tumultuous times. The market provided a whole new audience for us and an incredible boost in interest and sales. I can’t wait to be able to participate in a physical market!
Apartment No. 3
I enjoyed being part of the Market for Makers Virtual Market. My experience was great! I got a lot of traffic to my online shop through participating of this market. It is a great and well run organization that helps small businesses be seen and get sales, especially now more than ever, we must focus on getting leads virtually in order to grow our businesses. I appreciate the effort and level of organization that Market for Makers has done to help my small business during this time!
Virtual Markets for Makers was easy to participate in and brought me a ton of new followers and traffic to my website. They really pay attention to the details and try to feature and differentiate each and every maker. Their following was ready to support!
Nuggie PAW shop
As a first time small business owner, I can honestly say that this experience was by far a great decision, Great customer service and very organized! I have been to markets for makers in Miami and it was a dream of mine to be part of it. Due to our current situation I participated in the online market and I Loved it! I will definitely participate in upcoming online markets, and some day in the regular market! 🙂

I really enjoyed participating in the Virtual Market for Makers. I definitely saw an increase in traffic, sales and engagement. The staff were friendly and helpful and clearly showed how much they want Makers to survive and thrive. In addition, they were transparent in their strategy and results achieved.
I love being part of the Markets community and being a vendor at Market for Makers Virtual and Physical Markets! They are so professional, have a great clientele and are always willing to help vendors get better.
We were pleasantly surprised with this market and have already signed up for the next two available! When COVID hit, we experienced a loss in sales (as many other small businesses did). This market helped us gain a new network of fellow artists and sales from customers we wouldn’t have been able to reach on our own! Highly recommend. Thank you for sharing our story!!
Seed and Soil
Markets for Makers is exactly what their name describes. Such an amazing group of people hustling to give makers every opportunity possible!
We are so happy to have been part of the first Virtual Market. I’m thankful for all new visitors to our website, new followers to our IG account, and all the wonderful new customers who supported my small business. Looking forward to the next two markets. We will be adding lots of new vintage glass and barware for the holidays.
I really enjoyed everything about the virtual market! Everything from the organization and communication with the team, to the interaction in social media with other participating brands! Everyone supported each other and it felt as though we were together in the same space. Hopefully we can all meet very soon in person, but mean while the virtual market is a great alternative to help your business grow.
The Treehouse Teahouse
If you are looking for exposure, this is the right market for you! As a maker in that lives in the middle of the sea, it can be hard to gain buyers from across the nation. I felt that Markets for Makers really expanded my customer reach to places I wouldn’t have otherwise.
Hines Brines was very excited to be apart of the virtual market, with everything that is going on in the works right now. It allowed us to reach a broader audience and introduce them to Hines Brines. Not only did it increase my July sales, but it allowed me to capture new customers that will return to purchase at a later date!
HOW CAN I BE FEATURED ON YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA AND INVITED TO UPGRADES?
While we accept many makers that are still growing and working on various areas of their online presence, we are now only featuring those makers that have already established a strong brand and presence online.
We will be inviting accepted makers with the best product branding, packaging and photography, websites and social media to have access to exclusive upgrades. This includes makers spotlights, instagram story posts, shout outs, and being featured on our IGTV.
If you are not invited and are interested we suggest working in the above areas including great product packaging, product photography and in-action behind-the-scenes studio shots.
WHAT QUALIFIES AS A MAKER?

We do not accept makers with:

Please note: We have a capped amount of Makers per category to ensure the market maintains a standard of high-quality and variety. Participation in a past markets does not guarantee a spot for future markets as we do rotate vendors.
ARE FEES REFUNDABLE?
Makers will pay for their participation fee and application fee upfront, if not accepted, you will be notified and the participation fee will be refunded by the start date of the market period you have applied for.
Once accepted, we do not issue any refunds or credits.
WHEN WILL I HEAR BACK?
While we try to email every Maker about the status of their application, we do receive many applications daily and are not always able to respond to each one.
You will be notified if you have been accepted by the 13th of each month.
IS THERE AN APPLICATION FEE?
Local Virtual Market application fees are $15 per each month you are applying to and are non refundable. This covers all administrative costs of processing the applications each month (yes, we evaluate each maker again as if they are brand new!) but does not guarantee acceptance into the market.
If you have not been accepted to a market, we highly suggest you take the time before the next market to work on certain areas of your company before the next month we look through makers. We put together a great list of suggestions on how to put your best foot forward. CLICK HERE to access this page!
